Here's a note from Dave Edwardson, on Souls At Zero: ´In retrospect Souls At Zero was the jumping off point for our progression towards our later sound. We took chances, we integrated synthesizers and samples and challenged ourselves to abandon our punk roots and wrote songs that we knew would in turn challenge our listeners and probably alienate a good deal of them.´"
